Among other things, mint has anti-inflammatory, antioxidant and soothing properties that perfectly complement the effects of turmeric.

We recommend using this mask daily to remove acne scars.

Don’t worry about possible skin irritation as they are both gentle ingredients.

  • 1 teaspoon turmeric powder (3 g)
  • 10 ml mint tea

Preparation

  • First, combine the two ingredients until a paste is formed.
  • Clean your face with a neutral soap and then rinse the skin with water.
  • Then apply the mask with a brush to the areas where the acne scars are located.
  • Leave it on for thirty minutes and rinse with warm water.

If your skin feels dry after this, use a light cream.

2. Turmeric and Sandalwood

Using products in turmeric masks that contain antioxidants is essential for repairing skin cells damaged by acne. In addition to recovery, you can also use this mask to prevent discoloration.

The three ingredients in this mask have purifying and antibacterial properties.

Ingredients

  • 1 teaspoon of:
    • sandalwood powder (3 g)
    • turmeric powder (3 g)
    • warm milk (5 ml)

You can use this mask every day or at least twice a week. The ingredients are very neutral so you will not experience any skin problems. However, remember to use a sunscreen every day.

3. Honey and Turmeric Masks

Honey

It is normal for the passage of time and environmental exposure to affect the skin and cause it to lose hydration.

When that happens, this mask will help close your pores, get silky smooth skin and reduce scarring. Honey also has disinfecting properties that thoroughly clean pores.

Ingredients

  • 1 tablespoon of turmeric powder (10 g)
  • 1 tablespoon organic honey (25 g)

Preparation

  • First, combine the two ingredients in a heatproof bowl.
  • Heat the mixture in the microwave for a minute.
  • Then wash your face and dry it thoroughly.
  • Apply the mask with a brush.
  • Leave it on for twenty minutes and then rinse with warm water.

This mask is a miracle and the honey also exfoliates your skin. You can choose to apply it only to the areas where you have acne. But you can also multiply the effects by using it all over your face.

4. Turmeric and Coconut Oil Mask

This option is perfect for hydrating, adding antioxidants and supplying your skin with fatty acids.

Coconut oil restores the balance of oil in your skin while fighting infection and inflammation.

5. Turmeric, rose water and chickpea flour

rose water

The next mask on our list is a real treat for the skin. Chickpea flour absorbs excess fat, cleans the pores and prevents them from getting clogged again.

Rose water, on the other hand, is an astringent water that moisturizes the skin and reduces color changes.

Ingredients

  • 1 tablespoon of turmeric powder (10 g)
  • 2 tablespoons chickpea flour (30 g)
  • 2 tablespoons rose water (30 ml)

Preparation

  • Mix the turmeric with the chickpea flour in a small bowl.

  • Apply the paste to the areas where you want to remove the acne scars.
  • Leave on for fifteen minutes.
  • Then rinse it off with cold water.
