In Life It’s All About The Effort You Put In Yourself

“Fate shuffles the cards, but we are the ones who have to play the game.” Sometimes luck and talent just aren’t enough. You also need hard work and a strong, unwavering commitment.
In life it's all about the effort you make yourself

We live in a society that sometimes knows success without self-confidence. Some people think that success in life does not always reflect a lot of effort.

Some think it has to do with a third party mainly. Sometimes these people will even say that successful people are just lucky, or that fate has made it so for them.

This may indeed be true. It may be that some people, thanks to all kinds of outside influences, go very far without having special talents. Yet we cannot deny that talent does exist.

However, if you excel at something, it’s usually because you’ve put a lot of effort into it. Because you’ve worked through nights, struggled for days, made sacrifices, and fought on and on without even thinking that giving up would ever be an option.

As we all know, the sun rises for nothing and everything else requires effort. Yet there are still people who limit themselves by just dreaming and hoping that one day everything will fall into place on its own, that one day they will be lucky.

Others, on the other hand, know that there is only one way to make your dreams come true. That is through hard work and a lot of effort.

Today we want you to think about this for a moment.

Everything you have is due to your hard work and effort

The writer Wally Lamb once said,  “Fate shuffles the cards, but we are the ones who have to play the game.

People who think that their friends’ happiness or their neighbor’s success is purely coincidental are wrong. They are so wrong that some even look for all kinds of excuses to reassure themselves. They do this to hide the evidence. It bothers them to see that others are happier and more successful than they are.

Everything you have is due to your hard work and effort

It can indeed be difficult. Behind this reality, however, lies an interesting psychological process. Later we will talk about some important aspects related to success, overcoming difficulties and envy.

The double-edged sword of distant happiness

“I want you to be happy, but not happier than me” . This sentence is a good summary of what a “fake friend” feels when he watches us live the life we’ve always dreamed of.

If you’ve ever noticed that an acquaintance or friend made you feel that way, it’s important to know why.

  • Some people like to have some control over the people close to them. This control is also based on equal conditions. If one escapes from this balance, he is questioned and rejected.
  • This need for control is actually a cover for a lack of self-confidence. These types of people usually think “If everyone around me is as bad as I am, then my incompetence won’t be noticed” . In this case, there are unequal conditions.

The moment these people see that their friends’ work is just as good or even better than their own, they immediately feel threatened.

Perseverance always pays off; don’t mind the people who say no

“Why would you want to apply there? It’s all a scam and the people who do get it are the people who are well connected!”, “Why did you fall in love with him? He’s way too good for you, you’re just wasting your time!”

We’ve all had to hear things like this. They may be slightly different depending on your location, the context, or the people who say this to you, but the idea always remains the same. The people who say things like this to you want to clip your wings and destroy your dreams to make sure you’ll never be happier than them.

Of course, we have to be somewhat realistic, as we sometimes tend to build a house of cards on top of a soft, fluffy cloud. However, if the goal we have in mind is clear, logical and achievable, then we must do everything we can to make it a reality.

Perseverance always pays off

Daily effort is a reflection of perseverance. The people who are not willing to invest their time, emotions, dreams and all of themselves will never achieve their goals.

This is because of something we also said above:  in life the sun rises for nothing.

Never give up

This persistence and daily effort is accompanied by an unwavering attitude: the determination to never give up.

Anyone eager to achieve a particular goal will sacrifice more than just effort and time for it. At the same time, they also have to overcome all kinds of challenges from outside.

These aren’t just the fake friends we talked about earlier, the people who destroy our dreams. It is also all the barriers that society creates for us. And, of course, the same tricks we all encounter time and again.

Never give up

That’s why it’s important to stay strong. If you know you are capable of achieving something, then you should go for it. Brave the raging seas where not everyone stays above water.

Sometimes talent alone is not enough. Sometimes you also need to have enough courage and an honorable, strong and unwavering spirit. Only then can we achieve the success we deserve.
